The Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has awarded $500,000 in scholarships since 1993. We are dedicated to the continued support and development of the youth in our community and will offer scholarship award opportunities again this year to deserving high school students who are committed to furthering their education.
ASAC continues to Create impactful programs for the community, Cultivate the environment in which we live, and Collaborate with the communities in our service area. We are also excited to continue our legacy of offering the annual ASAC “College Within Reach” Scholarship to talented graduating high school female seniors in schools residing in the City of Atlanta, City of South Fulton, and Clayton County, during the 2026 scholarship cycle. Interested female applicants may apply for only one scholarship in the awarded areas:
Academic Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant shows evidence of scholastic achievement and good moral character.
- Applicant is a prospective May or June 2026 graduating high school senior who is currently attending high school in the City of Atlanta (APS), City of South Fulton, or Clayton County school districts.
- Applicant has a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or 3.75 on 5.0 scale). Applicants must request a transcript to be sent to scholarship@asacdst.org. The transcript must be received by February 6, 2026, at 11:59pm EST.
- Applicant will enroll and attend an accredited college or university beginning Fall Semester 2026.
- Demonstrates a financial need.
Fine Arts Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant will declare a major in Fine Arts related study (Dance, Music, Musical Theater, Film & Television, Animation, etc.)
- Applicant is a prospective May or June 2026 graduating high school senior who is currently attending high school in the City of Atlanta (APS), City of South Fulton, or Clayton County school districts.
- Applicant has a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or 3.75 on 5.0 scale). Applicants must request a transcript to be sent to scholarship@asacdst.org. The transcript must be received by February 6, 2026 at 11:59pm EST.
- Applicant has taken at least four (4) high school courses in a Fine Arts discipline and earned a grade of “B” or better in each.
- Applicant shows evidence of scholastic achievement and good moral character.
- Applicant will enroll and attend an accredited college or university beginning Fall Semester 2026.
- Demonstrates a financial need.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant will declare a major in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math related study.
- Applicant is a prospective May or June 2026 graduating high school senior who is currently attending high school in the City of Atlanta (APS), City of South Fulton, or Clayton County districts.
- Applicant has a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or 3.75 on 5.0 scale). Applicants must request a transcript to be sent to scholarship@asacdst.org. The transcript must be received by February 6, 2026 at 11:59pm EST.
- Applicant has taken at least four (4) high school courses in a STEM discipline and earned a grade of “B” or better in each.
- Applicant shows evidence of scholastic achievement and good moral character.
- Applicant will enroll and attend an accredited college or university beginning Fall Semester 2026.
- Demonstrates a financial need.
Applicants must meet minimum eligibility requirements and submit a completed application and its supporting documentations online by January 16, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. No paper applications will be accepted and any incomplete application packets will not be reviewed. Selected applicants must attend a virtual interview conducted by the Scholarship Committee.
