Greetings sorors, community partners, and friends!
It is an honor to welcome you to the Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s official website.
More than 30 years ago, 74 members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. residing in metro Atlanta recognized a common interest in reclaiming Sorors. Following an extensive process, these members received approval to charter the Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter (ASAC) on April 24, 1993.
In the more than 30 years that have followed, ASAC has developed and implemented a wide range of programs in alignment with the Sorority’s five main programmatic areas:
- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Health
- Political Awareness and Involvement
Beyond these areas, ASAC has engaged in additional public service initiatives focused on:
- Arts and Letters
- Fundraising (for scholarships)
- Social Action
- Community Engagement
As the Chapter’s 12th President, I am honored to lead and work with more than 350 servant leaders committed to answering the Sorority’s and the community’s calls to serve. We are here and committed to elevating our impact.
ASAC believes in creating a space where EVERY soror feels welcomed, valued and connected, because this is the essence of sisterhood.
